Postgraduate Management Office (PGO)

Overview

The Faculty of Dentistry offers various postgraduate programmes to both local and international communities. The programmes cover a range of dental disciplines that are delivered and conducted in different mode of study to meet the needs and interest of the candidates; i.e. coursework, clinical coursework, coursework and dissertation (mixed-mode), and research programmes. Clinical programmes are designed to train dentists to be a specialist in the field of their choice. Candidates will be expose to clinical practice through dental specialist training at the Faculty’s specialist clinic as well as clinical posting at recognised and reputable Dental Institutions locally and/or internationally. On the other hand, the scientists too have options of major dental areas for them to explore and experiment in such as Oral Cancers, Oral Implants, Dental Materials, Health Care System, Dental Pharmaceutics, Molecular Studies and many more.

Clinical Services Office

Overview

Faculty of Dentistry's Dental Clinic located at the most strategic location at Klang Valley. Situated in between triangle of busiest town in Malaysia Lembah Pantai, Petaling Jaya and Bangsar make it the most in demand dental service provider in the Klang Valley. The faculty often provides dental care through a teaching hospital model. This means that dental students, under the supervision of experienced faculty members, provide the care. This allows students to gain practical experience while providing patients with cost-effective treatment.
Faculty of Office of Deputy Dean (Clinical Services) was established in October 2021. The office is spearheaded by Associate Professor Dr. Siti Mazlipah Ismail. This office plays a role in managing human resources, procurement of material and equipment, dental chair maintenance and customer service to ensure the best service to the public.

Student Affairs’ Office

Overview
  • Emphasis on non-academic aspects, including monitoring, mentoring, and enhancing students' personal traits.
  • Commitment to supporting students throughout their intellectual journey on campus.
  • Goal to create a positive living environment where students can thrive, find a sense of belonging, and actively engage for the next five years.

Services provided by the office:
1. Student Development Plan and implement students affairs/development activities
2. Welfare Planning, managing and executing welfare assistance in support of students' development and study
3. Co-curriculum Activities that allow for learning objectives to be focused on improving student’s soft skills and psychological capitals.
4. Disciplinary Overseen by Student Disciplinary Matters who also organises seminars to educate students on the current rules and regulation.
5.  Entrepreneurships Facilitate and support students in exploring the possibility of pursuing a career as an entrepreneur.
6.  Psychology & Counselling Implementing programmes, activities and psychological development of students, both physically and mentally
7.  Graduate Employability Our mission is to produce skilled and competitive graduates that are in great demands among industries and employers.
