Dental Student Society (DENSOC)

The Universiti Malaya Dental Society (DENSOC) is a student-initiated society established on the 11th June 1975 under the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Malaya, which comprise more than 250 members in the institution. DENSOC serves the purpose of providing an avenue for students to be active as well as giving back to the community, despite being occupied with clinics and classes during the day.

We organize academic and sports events not only limited to university level but extends beyond the national and global boundaries. Currently there are around 10 projects running per academic year, mobilised by our dedicated members. Despite the hectic schedule of BDS Programme, our committees continue to strive and look forward to covering new milestones ahead of us.

Our objectives are 

1. To look after the welfare of the members.
2. To act as a platform for interaction between the members.
3. To promote interaction with other faculties within University of Malaya as well as dental schools around the world.
4. To organise projects to produce well-rounded dental students.
5. To act as a mediator between the members and the administrative members of the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Malaya.
